Four years ago I moved from my home in Calgary to the Okanagan and have been adjusting to a creative life away from my home town. It was after the pandemic, during which my home was full, that there came a time to relocate as my children were all working to establish their independent lives. It seemed abrupt in the moment, but I had been imagining the downsize to a milder climate for years. Now, four years later I am, day by day, adjusting my expectations and visions for what these next years will look like. I hope that you will follow along as I enter what I hope to be the most creative years of life.
